We wanted to let you know about an important update that will affect all of our current customers. Willby’s Wind & Colic Pharmacy is undergoing some proprietorship changes and as we continue to see this process through, we regret to let you know that we are needing to temporarily pause our business operations effective immediately.
We apologise for the inconvenience this is likely to cause and please know we’re doing all we can to make sure this is a short-term measure.
Why is this happening?
Willby’s is a family run business that was started by pharmacist, Greg Goldby. Sadly, Greg passed away recently and since then, we have been working with the relevant pharmacy authority to ensure we have a pharmacist as the proprietor of the business (in line with regulations) while still keeping the business in the family as Greg always intended. There are solutions we are working towards, but unfortunately it’s not a simple process and it takes time. It was never our intention to be in this position, and we’re devastated to have to pause our business as we work this through but it is necessary to ensure we are compliant with all regulations.
What does this mean for you?
- We will be pausing compounding of Willby’s mix until further notice
- Any online or consult orders already submitted will be refunded, unless you have advised otherwise or already received a tracking number. Our online store will be closed for orders from now onwards, which means you won’t be able to reorder your mix at this stage
- Our customer service team and pharmacist will continue to be available during this time for support and questions. You can reach us on our hotline during business hours on 1300 794 232
We realise this update might cause feelings of disappointment, frustration and shock, especially if you are currently using Willby’s mix to help settle your baby’s colic symptoms. We’re sorry this is happening and rest assured that we’re working as hard as we can to get Willby’s back and running as quickly as we can, to support the families and bubs that we’re here to serve.
Please know that this is purely a step to ensure we are compliant with pharmacy regulations while we confirm the future of our proprietorship — this is not in any way a response to any issues or problems with our mix or medications.
